SUMMER STORM AT LAVERNA was done from a watercolor I did in July 2015 when I was on a painting trip to the Pemaquid Area in Maine. The weather was quite unsettled, which made watercolor painting on site quite challenging. The hike into this location was over a mile. Laverna Preserve is a lovely coastal preserve.
